Ukranian MC 2.8 35mm Tilt & Shift lens

I’ve been lusting after a Tilt and Shift lens for years, and this week I finally bought one, in the form of the Ukranian MC 35 mm.

It cost €460 from an eBay seller, compared to about €1,900 for the Canon branded equivalent, which was a large part of decision to finally commit to a purchase.

The lens is shown below, with full tilt engaged. Tilt and Shift refer to the movements the lens is capable of, which allow for modification the place of focus, as well as helping combat “converging verticals” when shooting (tall) architecture.
