26 Sep Curraghmore House
I spent an enjoyable and entertaining afternoon at Curraghmore House and gardens. Curraghmore is just a few kilometres outside Portlaw in County Waterford, and the main house was built over 800 years ago.
Our guide Basil brought us on a tour of the house and the shell house in the grounds for around an hour, well worth the €10. Entrance to the grounds only is €5. There is no photography allowed inside the house, but I got more than enough shots outside to make up for it. That’s not to say I wouldn’t jump at the chance to shoot inside.
